Learn the beautiful game at school – for all ages and abilities!
JGFA offers schools the chance for our coaches to come to their facilities in the FNQ area, and provide an After School Soccer Club, Breakfast Club, Lunchtime Club or PE replacement sessions.
The payment for these programs are usually paid for by the parents as an optional course for their child, if they are interested in them receiving the training, although sometimes the fees are paid for by the school through funding.
Generally, the clubs and courses JGFA have ran and organised in schools have been very successful and have had a lot of interest.
JGFA has held programs at numerous schools across Far North Queensland, including:
- St. Andrew’s Catholic College
- Edge Hill State School
- Yorkey’s Knob State School
- Holy Cross Primary School
- Freshwater Primary School
- Whitfield Primary School
- Caravonica State School
- St. Gerard Majella School
- Redlynch State College
- Mother of Good Counsel College
- Isabella State School
- Trinity Beach State School/li>
- Our Lady Help of Christians School
- Peace Lutheran College
- St. Francis Xavier’s School
If a school is interested, they can contact us and we will get a flyer out to the parents and come in to do an assembly to promote and talk about what is on offer.
JGFA’s school programs usually run for 8 weeks at a time during the school terms, but are available at any time and for any duration required. Fees can vary, but we usually charge $80 per child for an 8-week course.
Every child that enrols will have the chance to win prizes through games, competitions and a display of good attitude.
If your child attends a school that you think would be interested in any of these programs, please speak to the Principal or Head of PE and ask them to contact us here at JGFA.
