Football is a great game for girls to get into and be interested in!
Women’s soccer is getting bigger and bigger, and with the Matildas beating Brazil to win the Tournament of Nations, there seems to be an ever-evolving talent of young girls in Australia. We are also very proud to have had two of our Girls Academy players go on to play in the women’s NPL, with one still playing for the Brisbane Roar and hopefully a future Matilda.
At JGFA, we believe starting young is the key, and learning the right techniques is vitally important.
In our Girls Academy program, JGFA helps our players discover the magic of football. While keeping the emphasis on having fun and being relaxed, we work on mastering their technique and attaining all the skills needed to play competitively and competently.
It is also very good for improving social skills and developing a great attitude to teamwork.
At JGFA, we want everyone in our Academy to feel part of a football family, and will give constant feedback and guidance to every individual.
